Sometimes it’s the simplest things that can spark an idea. For designer Rebecca Finell, it all began with a messy toddler bathtub. Her wheels started turning, and the Frog Pod was born! (A Frog Pod is a fun and simple scoop for collecting bath time toys and products.) But Rebecca didn’t stop there – she had many more ideas. She and her business partner, Ryan Fernandez, created Boon Inc, a design studio that tackles one parenting challenge after another. They’ve designed fresh and fun solutions for eating, playing, storage and seating – and do their best to keep them affordable, too!
We tried to make this frog stick - following the instruction given carefully - using both the suction and the stickers. Neither worked. They do not hold the weight of the frog + toys. You will need to screw this piece into the tiles of the tub which we were not willing to do. We eventually settled on hanging it on the wall more as a piece of art (and put a few bath books in it).
Babybot response: Wow! We are shocked to read this review! We aren't sure what's going on in poor Heather's case but several of the Babybot crew (including me!) have the frog pod and it has held perfectly! We used the stickers as opposed to the suctions and have never had an issue and it contains: Boon Scrubbles, Boon Bath goods, waterbugs and Hoppops Triplo set - that thing is full and bursting at the seams! It's been on the same wall (not tiles but fiberglass) for 2.5 years without incident.
