In the summer of 2005, Jeanice Skvaril had an epiphany. Standing in her son’s picture-perfect modern nursery, outfitted with white lacquered furniture and vintage tin circus toys, she had a daunting thought: “What kind of bedding are we going to outfit your big-boy bed with?” She had seen the enemy: licensed characters commandeering children’s bedrooms, crawling into their beds and stifling their imaginations. She wanted alternatives to the mainstream mediocrity offered by big retailers, but didn’t want to subject him to her own minimalist preferences. Boodalee offers bedding, throw pillows and wall graphics in fun, imaginative patterns to inspire your child’s room.
